Legends on the Farmington

I had to cancel just a few days before my upcoming weekend because of a medical emergency in my family. Sal, the owner, reached out personally, refunded me, and sent his best wishes to my family. I’ve stayed here during local ski trips before and always had a wonderful time. Looking forward to my next stay at legends.

There are plenty of quiet spots around the property to sit and enjoy the peaceful natural setting. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the grounds are gorgeous, with easy access to the Farmington River and some great fishing spots. Legends really does live up to its name. I’d definitely recommend it and come back.

My daughter and I were traveling on our own to visit family, and we felt safe and secure even with other guests at the lodge. Our first-floor en-suite had two double beds, a fireplace, and a private deck looking over the yard and river. It was clean and beautiful, with linens and toiletries provided. The lodge has classic decor, high ceilings, a vaulted ceiling in the main living room, and an open floor plan. It’s a calm, lovely place, and it would be ideal for a family gathering. I highly recommend it.

The setting is beautiful, and the rooms are very comfortable. But loud dogs have spoiled my last two visits. The owner has often been away, fishing out of state. I left early because of the noise and was still charged for the night.
