BarDew Valley Inn

The patio was our favorite spot, and the pond and outdoor area were beautiful. There were a few dogs wandering around, all very sweet. Perry was a great host and cooked breakfast both days we were there. Everything tasted delicious. You could tell someone had put care into all the little details, almost like a search for Easter eggs. We'd definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway.

The host was attentive and really nice, and breakfast was wonderful. We got married at Woolaroc, about 20 minutes away, and spent a couple of nights here afterward. Since our wedding had a medieval theme, the French chateau room suited us perfectly. It's a beautiful location, and we'd love to come back for our anniversary.

The quiet setting was a big part of the appeal. It's a little outside town, but getting into town is quick and easy. Perry was a terrific host, and his sweet dogs Sadie and Brownie were lovely company. Each room has lots of thoughtful decorating, and ours had everything we needed for an easy stay. The bed warmers were especially nice. We also really enjoyed the amazing breakfasts each morning and would be happy to stay here again.

We left feeling relaxed and refreshed after a pleasant walk around the beautiful grounds. Sitting by the waterfall was lovely, and from our patio we counted six hummingbirds coming to feed nearby. There's a spring-fed pond or lake in front of the house where you can swim or take a paddle boat out. I could spend ages naming all the plants. The host was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and the peaceful atmosphere was just right for a bed and breakfast. It's off the beaten path, though easy to reach, and we hope to return soon. I was also surprised to find several EV charging stations. A+ for that convenience, sir!
