Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bartlesville

We stayed for two weeks because of work, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The room was very nice, the bathroom was clean, and the morning coffee was a great bonus. They also put out a good selection of breakfast items, and the place feels homey. Most of the staff were kind, though some could use more training in customer service. The owner was respectful and, like everyone else, just trying to get through the pandemic. We'd come back if we needed to.

We had to book somewhere quickly, and this was one of only three hotels with a room that night. Breakfast was good, and the staff were nice, but it was still a rough stay. The building had a musty funk, and our room was awful-smelling and blazing hot when we arrived late. The pool looked so questionable that we skipped it. It smelled far from clean, with brown puddles all over the deck. The room, bathroom, halls, and hotel generally weren't clean, and guests on our floor kept us awake all night by screaming and running up and down the halls. We wanted a lot better and would definitely recommend finding another hotel.

The price was okay, breakfast was okay, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. But there were no sheets or blankets on the beds when we arrived, and the pool heater wasn't working. Our keys stopped working after a day for no clear reason. Nobody cleaned or tidied the room or bathroom during the day, apparently unless you specifically ask.

I got a clean, very nice room, and the desk clerks were friendly and extremely helpful. The women on day shift made the stay much more comfortable, even giving me extra coffee, sugar, and creamer for my room. They serve a bag breakfast and are taking extra precautions against COVID. I saw them cleaning and inspecting rooms, and they were very thorough.
