The front desk staff were so kind and accommodating. I was able to check in early even though I thought that probably wouldn’t be an option, and they also let me check out late so I could rest before heading out the next day. My room was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Stores I needed were all within 10-15 minutes. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in town.

There’s a really nice movie theater behind the hotel with reclining seats. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly, so we had a great stay. We’d come back on our next trip to town.

This is the first time I’ve posted a negative review. I usually give places a lot of grace, and I’d had good stays here before, but this visit was awful. I found brown water coming from the sink while brushing my teeth, and the furniture and room were filthy. About 20-30 minutes after checking in, I went to the front desk with a video. They said the city was doing work across the street and the brown water was normal. I asked about a refund for the weekend, but the attendant cited the 48-cancellation policy. We decided to stay. On Sunday, as I was checking out, I saw a HUGE roach crawling toward the bed. I told the desk immediately, but they said there was nothing they could do. The general manager, Preyesh Govin, later told me the water was brown because of construction, the hotel was dated and therefore dirty, and he’d have pest control come in. After I followed up, he said he couldn’t do anything. He eventually gave me $50 after more discussion, which I still feel was unacceptable given the conditions. I’ve spoken with Preyesh several times by email and phone, and he wasn’t helpful in resolving things. I complained to corporate; they couldn’t refund me but said they would make the situation better, and I’m still waiting. Preyesh refused to do so, and then told corporate I hadn’t complained about the room before checkout, even though I reported it within 20-30 minutes of arriving on the first day. I’ve added photos. In my opinion, the general manager’s proposed solutions make it seem like he considers these normal hotel conditions. Think carefully before booking.

I’ve been here nearly two weeks and still have another month to go. Since check-in, I’ve told four different front desk staff that the tub doesn’t drain properly. I end up showering in a puddle of my own filth. They keep making notes, but nothing has been fixed, and room service doesn’t clean the tub either.
