Home Place Suites

For just $65, two king beds were a fantastic deal. The beds were clean and comfortable, there was free coffee in the morning, and the place felt safe, quiet, and low-traffic at night. Crystal at the front desk sealed the deal for us. She was incredibly friendly, informative, and gave great customer service. We come to Bartlesville quite often to see family, and now we know where we'll stay.

Everything was quiet and well kept, and the location made getting around easy. The room at Home Place Suites in Oklahoma was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk with. I enjoyed staying here and would definitely return or recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, no-stress place.

My mom stayed here while her kitchen was being finished, and I visited her four times. Each time I came in through the back parking area, the entry smelled clean and fresh. Housekeeping really stayed on top of things. I kept seeing the same tall housekeeper vacuuming, mopping the entryway, or working in the hall with her cart. She was bubbly and friendly, let us back into the room, and asked if we needed anything. It made me happy to see my mom so well looked after while she was away from home.

The place was cheap, but I would've paid more for a better hotel. We were there only from about 8:30pm to 5:15am, and it was a no-refund booking. The location behind iHop was hard to find, and the lobby was quite a walk from the rooms. There was a slight smell in the room and on the bed. I had trouble sleeping with the noise and the general icky feeling of the place, and I wouldn't recommend it or stay there again. It seemed like they were just starting a remodel, with ladders, painting supplies, and boxes everywhere and nothing on the walls yet. One room was taped off, maybe for bedbug treatment. Our beds showed no signs of bedbugs, though. I checked the mattress corners and seams with a flashlight and even pulled the nightstand away from the wall to look behind it. The noise was constant: men talking in the halls, people running or walking loudly in our hallway and overhead, and a big dog barking all night, not just a little yap. There was almost nothing in the room: no closet area, cups by the sink, coffee, microwave, or fridge. There wasn't coffee in the lobby either. At checkout around 5:15am, nobody came to the desk even with all the lights on and after we rang the bell twice. I had to call several times before someone answered and confirmed my checkout.
