Crest Motel

We needed somewhere to sleep after arriving at 2 a.m., and getting checked in was easy. The room was clean, private, and spacious, and the water was hot. No complaints.

For a quick night, this budget motel could do the job, but the dated rooms and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The low price includes free Wi-Fi and breakfast, though the overall condition may not suit everyone. Comfort and amenities are limited, so keep expectations modest.

The area was lovely and the place looked cute, which made the bed bug problem such a shock. My baby and I lasted less than three hours before bugs were crawling all over us. I was exhausted when I checked in, so why would I leave again for no reason? The owner only refunded me after I threatened to expose the business and call the police. They had yelled at me and called me a liar. The front desk man was rude too, rolling his eyes repeatedly and giving my fiancé and me a hard time. This was the worst experience I’ve had, and I’ll never return. At $85 a night it was completely overpriced and ridiculous.

In winter the room was cold, and it took an hour to warm up. I then had to switch rooms, and spent half the night sleeping in my clothes before taking them off. In the morning, the shower water smelled like something had died in the pipes. On the phone I was quoted $75 a night, but when I arrived and checked in, I was told it was $85 plus $5 per night, and that $75 covered only four hours.
