North Colony Motel and Cottages

The owners were so welcoming, and the rooms were very clean. You get a quiet stay here while still being close to the tourist spots, just outside busy North Conway. I’d definitely consider coming back.

We’ve stayed at the North Colony Motel a number of times, in motel rooms and once in a cottage. It’s consistently clean, comfortable, quiet, and reasonably priced. Bartlett town center and Attitash are both conveniently nearby, with the motel roughly between them. For food, Bart's Deli and General Store in Bartlett is pretty good, but they’re always short staffed, and they even have a Help Wanted sign on the door. The old Cabin Fever, later called Northern Bites, seemed like a good restaurant, but I think it’s closed for good. That leaves the best options in North Conway or Jackson, so I took a star off for location.

The owners are incredibly personable and happy to help with anything. The motel was the cleanest I’ve ever seen, and the bathroom was modern and a decent size. It’s also well placed in the heart of the Presidential range, while still close to North Conway.

We came to the area for a wedding and found a comfortable little motel. The owners were friendly, and our room was clean. I especially liked the screened porch and the small coffee pots in the rooms. There’s plenty to do on site, with a pool, playground, and fire pits, and the nature around it is beautiful. I’d stay again if I’m back in the area.
