Budget Inn

The rooms were dirty, dark, depressing, and had bugs. A foreign guy answered the phone and said he’d give me a good room, but the room I got was terrible. When I asked for my money back, they gave me a check that was as dirty as the hotel, and it only covered 2 of the 3 nights I’d paid for.

The location is perfect, and the woman was nice, but our room really disappointed me. I don’t mind outdated, but it needed a much better cleaning. There was dust on the hair dryer and shower, the drain wouldn’t empty, and there was spilled liquid on the bureau doors. The sheets looked dirty, and there was hair tangled in the washcloth. My friend’s room was outdated too, but clean, so maybe ours is one that gets neglected a lot. That’s too bad.

No one was at the front desk. I waited there for 30 minutes, dialing that phone.

Bob Patel, the manager, treated us like family when we arrived very, very late at night. He was wonderful. The room was really nice and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.
