Even though we were there just one night, we felt at home from the moment Chuck and Jude welcomed us. We've stayed at plenty of B&Bs on our travels, and Middle Street Inn is at the top of the list. The room was immaculate, with lots of daylight and shades that kept the outside light out for a restful sleep on a wonderfully comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and spotless, with lovely towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and a shower I could have stayed in all day. We had tea by the gas fireplace in the sitting room, then coffee before a delicious breakfast that was beautifully presented. Chuck and Jude were warm, thoughtful, friendly, and fun, and we enjoyed talking with them. We look forward to coming back and highly recommend the inn.

Chuck and Jude made sure our dietary needs were covered, including gluten free, and breakfast was gourmet. The whole inn has been renovated beautifully, from the spotless rooms to the common areas, which are decorated perfectly. The owners are nearby if you need anything, but don't hover. We came to Bath with family for a wedding, and finding The Middle Street Inn felt like a home run. If I could give it six stars, I would. It has to be the best place in Bath!

We keep thinking about our next visit. This was our second stay in three years, again with the other couple who came along last time. Chuck and Jude are warm, caring hosts and great cooks, and the breakfasts were gourmet. The rooms were comfortable, the beds especially so, and the whole place is impeccably clean. Even the AC units were just a whisper. The tiled shower is beautiful and has great pressure. We had board games and a big dining room table to play at, so we didn't need a TV.

We stumbled across Middle Street Inn, and staying there felt like a gift. Chuck and Jude's food and recreation tips made our anniversary weekend so much better. We hope to see them again, whether we return to their area or they visit ours. Their inn feels like an extension of who they are, and it was an honor to be welcomed into their home. It's warm, lovely, inviting, comfortable, and immaculate, with thoughtful details throughout. The location is convenient too, just a short walk to everything around Bath. Chuck and Jude are kind, down to earth, open, and easy to talk to. They know the region well and willingly shared what was available. Breakfast was fresh, meticulously prepared, beautifully served, and outstanding, and they graciously accommodated our diet and allergies.

Bath was a great base for us, with a walkable downtown a short stroll from the inn. The rooms were private and had everything we needed, and the house had plenty of character. Chuck and Jude knew the region well and gave us useful ideas for day trips. Check out the Maritime Museum! Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed chatting with our hosts. We'd definitely stay again.
