I stayed here for 3 days. The front desk people are friendly, and the customer service is good. Prices are cheap, but the rooms look a little old. It's a budget friendly place for a longer stay.

The best part of this hotel is the price. I had a good stay, though the customer service could use a little work and the rooms look somewhat dated. A few updates would make the experience better.

I booked a room, but when I got there the lobby was open and nobody was around to check me in. I called the listed phone number, and someone said it was too late to check in because it was after 9pm. The customer service was awful and rude. Not worth staying at.

The owners are a very cute older couple, and the maid/night manager was helpful once we got the online booking sorted out. This is a historic hotel in downtown Bath, NY, overlooking the town square where seasonal outdoor markets are held, right beside the historic county courthouse. Bath National cemetery at the VA Center and mossy bank are a short drive away. Rooms are affordable and clean, though the age of the building means there's some wear and tear. If you like a vintage stay, this place fits.

This is a small town hotel with limited amenities and modest upkeep, so it won't suit everyone. There's no in-room coffee maker, micro-fridge, microwave, or high-end bathroom fixtures. Still, I think it's a great value if you want a no-nonsense stay that supports a small NY community. The Old National Hotel gives you a nostalgic experience in a classic building, and it's a fast drive to Keuka lake. The original architecture and design are well preserved, with a welcoming façade, vintage woodwork, and an old-style elevator. Rooms are clean and decent, with firm mattresses, simple furnishings, a seating area, desk, and air conditioning. The hotel has plenty of character. An elderly gentleman behind the front desk and tending bar was patient, warm, and friendly. His sincere welcome and laid back check-in felt like visiting an old family friend, without all the corporate formalities. The Old National isn't modern luxury, and its simplicity is part of what makes it endearing. If you care about historic architecture, community hospitality, and backing a local legacy, you may leave with fond memories. It sits in one of Bath's century-old buildings, part of the Liberty Street Historic District dating back to the mid-1800s.
