Holiday Inn Baton Rouge College Drive I-10 by IHG

The staff were welcoming, and the room was spotless and well kept. The bed was really comfortable, the TV had plenty of channels, and both the AC and heat worked great. I had a very good burger at the restaurant and the bartender was awesome. I didn’t get to try breakfast because it seemed overpriced, but I’d definitely stay again.

Brittany Martin was wonderful when I called at the last minute to book a room for a friend with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS). She worked hard to gather information, figure out the best location for a guest with MCS, ask housekeeping to prepare the room, and follow up on my email checklist. She also kept checking on my friend’s stay. There was still some chemical smell in the room, but my friend did great. We’d given housekeeping no warning, so it’s understandable that the room would have some chemicals. No fouls were committed. The Holiday Inn felt like a safe place, especially the rooms with hardwood floors. I mention the chemicals because MCS affects 12% of the US population and that number is growing quickly. By some accounts, it’s increased 300% since 2018. My friend said she’d rarely, if ever, had so much support during a hotel stay. If I could give Brittany a million stars, I would. Thank you to her and the staff for doing such wonderful work.

We come back every couple of months when we’re doing business in the Baton Rouge area. The location works well for us, and we’re very pleased with the accommodations, amenities, and staff. After a full day of business, one of the best parts is unwinding at the bar and chatting with Khirstin. She has amazing people skills and knows how to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. I hope upper management recognizes what she brings to the hotel and how she helps attract repeat customers.

A great place to stop during our drive through Baton Rouge. We had sleeping children with us, and the gentleman at check-in made arrival quick and smooth. The woman who helped us at breakfast was just as kind and wonderful with the kids. The rooms were clean and nicely updated.
