Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel

I came in for the first time after the remodel and was impressed, as I always am with Renaissance hotels. NYC is a favorite. Tatiana and Brooke in Baton Rouge were professional and engaging. I stayed again before leaving, and the attention to detail and professionalism are still what I expect from this chain. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Chihquita at the front desk is warm and welcoming, with that polished hotel charm I appreciate. Thank you, Renaissance.

This is our home away from home in Baton Rouge. The reception and lobby staff are some of the best around, and Kirk makes us feel like family every time. Damon at Tallulah is another reason we keep coming back. The service is outstanding, every time. Thanks to everyone, even though there are too many names to list.

After a long day of travel, Johneisha’s warmth and sincere attention made me feel at home right away. She was professional, welcoming, and clearly wanted me to enjoy my stay. We paid over $1200 for three nights during our first LSU family week, and it felt like a waste of money. The outside and lobby looked much better than our old, musty room, which needed a major overhaul. I can see the potential here, but the five-star price wasn’t justified. We had to beg to get the room cleaned, and there was trash scattered around the hotel floor. Breakfast was short-staffed, and coffee wasn’t readily available. Maybe management coordination was part of the problem, but I’m very unimpressed and won’t spend that much here again. Choose carefully.
