The staff are really friendly, and everything besides the room was fine. Our first room was great, with two soft, comfortable beds. In the new room, though, something seems to be making me feel sick to my stomach. My girlfriend may have found a job with the staff. I’m hoping and praying they hire her.

The location worked well for us, close to restaurants, and the price was a great value. The manager was so friendly and accommodating. When he saw me heading out to check out, he offered to carry my heavy suitcase down the stairs. I really appreciated that kind of service.
2/10
The smell in the room and hallways was awful, and the sheets were stained. There was only one working outlet, so two of us had to share it to charge our phones, with one phone plugged in in the bathroom. Just one light worked beside the bathroom, too. The bathroom had no soap, toiletries, tissue, or extra toilet paper. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I’m here right now and have stayed off and on over the past six months. The owners and staff have always been kind and accommodating, and they’re happy to help get whatever you need. I’m sure I’ll be back again. Definitely recommend it.

When I’m in Battle Creek, this is where I’ll stay. It’s the best TravelLodge I’ve ever been to: the room was clean, smelled good, and had a fridge and microwave.
