Quality Inn Battleboro - Rocky Mount

Room 110 had water dripping constantly, and the remote’s channel button didn’t work. At the desk, we were told to shut the door to block out the drip and that I could get batteries for the remote. We asked to move and got room 125. There, the bathroom ceiling light kept flickering, and the toilet gurgled all night. Definitely not worth the money. They could at least refund part of the room if they want to make this right.

The motel was old and run down, as Quality Inns often are, and I’d skip it. Our first room was dirty, and that wasn’t even the main issue: our dog alerted us to something behind a bed, and it turned out to be a cat in the room. We were moved. In the new room, the tub spout kept dripping. When I tried tightening it, the drip turned into a steady flow, so I went back to the front desk. The man banged on the wall a couple times and got it back to a drip. Then he told us to close the bathroom door.

I stopped here halfway through my drive from Florida to New York. The room was very clean, and Jacob at the front desk was really nice when I checked out. He made sure everything had been okay. I had a little continental breakfast before getting back on the road.

The front desk was really friendly and accommodating, and the price and pet policy would bring me back. The room was clean and there were no bugs. I know renovations and updates are underway. The stained towel, hard-to-use TV, and lumpy bed were drawbacks, but none was a deal breaker. I’d stay again.
