The price was fantastic, and the room was clean and surprisingly spacious for what I paid. The place had a charming 80s retro feel, like a fun trip back in time, and that carved wooden door was stunning. Juan at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating. He gave me helpful details about the ice machine, breakfast time, and whether breakfast was included. I'm definitely coming back.
I called with a few questions before booking, since I had planned to use Booking.com. The guy I spoke with was nice and said they'd match Booking.com's price, so I booked directly with the hotel for a friend who was coming to visit. She couldn't make it, and I called to let them know, assuming everything was settled. A month or two later, they charged my card a cancellation fee. Booking.com wouldn't have charged one, and a charge that far afterward doesn't seem very legitimate. If the desk agent offers to price match, they should also explain that a cancellation fee may be charged to the card months later.
I booked a ballroom for an event, and Diana B was very helpful. She's a wonderful representative for the business.
I love staying here. It's really affordable and cleaner than other places I've tried, and I've never had a problem during my stays.
I felt very safe here, and the remodel meant the prices reflected the work going on. That's why I gave it three stars instead of four.
