Harbor's Edge Motel

I had such a nice visit and the hotel staff were friendly. From my room, the harbor, ferry crossing, and lake all looked wonderful. It's an easy walk to a coffee shop and several good restaurants. I ate delicious whitefish at Morty's Pub and can't wait to come back. ❤️

The location makes it easy to see town, eat at local restaurants, and look out over the water. The rooms are small, clean, and cozy, just the sort of place to sleep and take a shower.

The boating nearby and the waterfall hikes were wonderful, and we'd love to return to explore more. We were in unit 7A, where the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were warm and helpful. We brought a 21-foot boat on a trailer, so we paid $10 a day for nearby parking in addition to the free vehicle parking. The hotel explained that before we booked, so there were no surprises. We made breakfast in the room and had brought what we needed, since the supplies provided were just a small fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster, with no utensils.

I stayed in room #7, which opened onto the courtyard, and liked the little seating area with its two comfy swivel chairs. The room was roomy, and though the shower was tiny, the water pressure was great. The motel is right across from the ferry line and centrally placed in Bayfield, with a city park within walking distance. Last night there was free live music there, so I ate dinner, listened, and watched the sun go down over the bay. The grounds are lovely too, with lots of flowers and plants, including a small courtyard with a table and chairs. The staff were kind and helpful when I asked about places to eat.
