Our two bedroom condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a kitchen with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, dishes, utensils, kettle, coffee maker, and toaster. There was also a dining table and fireplace, plus a balcony overlooking the gondola. The village gondola was just a two minute walk away, which made things really convenient. Parking was easy, and there are lockers in the garage for boards. They’ll lend you a lock if you don’t have one. The beds were comfortable, though I didn’t care for the pillows. The master bedroom had both a shower and a bathtub, which was great for relaxing after a day of boarding. Robes are available for the pool and jacuzzi. Free wifi, and no smoking inside, though you can smoke on the street. No issues during our stay.

I’ve been here three times, and it’s become my only place to stay in Mammoth. The apartments are big and well equipped, and the staff are friendly and capable. Having underground parking, the gondola right there, and so many restaurants and little shops in the same building makes everything easy. For the quality and convenience, I don’t think the value gets much better. I’d book The Village Lodge again with confidence.

Kayla at the front desk deserves a special mention. She knew her job inside and out, and she found and returned my late father’s watch. Thank you again, Kayla. The staff overall were genuinely kind and helpful, and the rooms were amazing. Underground parking gave me peace of mind about my SUV. With good restaurants, reasonably priced drinks, and fun dancing at the bars, we had plenty to enjoy. The location made it easy to leave everyday stress behind and take a real vacation. I’d book Village Lodge for another Mammoth trip.

We’ve already stayed twice and would come back. The staff are very friendly, the setting is great, and the rooms are lovely. Our three bedroom apartment had plenty of utensils for the whole family to cook and relax, and it wasn’t too far from the main attractions.

We parked in the heated underground garage and didn’t need to drive again. The free gondola takes you up to Canyon Lodge, and you can ski from there. Lockers at the lodge make it easy to leave your gear. The Village itself has shopping and restaurants, and the rooms are warm, cozy, and set up like a condo with everything you need. My balcony view was great. Definitely try Toomey's clam chowder, fish and chips, old fashioneds, Long Island iced tea, and whatever else catches your eye. So good!
