Legendary Waters Resort & Casino

Martin made booking rooms for our upcoming wedding event easy and pleasant. While we were together on the call, he checked six reservations for our party to make sure they were all settled, then patiently helped us reserve two more rooms. He was considerate throughout and handled everything efficiently. Friends had told us about a previous call with someone else who didn't show the same patience or professionalism. This was the most successful and effective conversation we've had with this team, and maybe ever. Thank you, Martin. I hope your date with Courtney goes well. I also hope Martin's supervisor sees this and considers a bonus, a raise, or simply paying him more. The rest of the team could learn from the service he gave us. This is an honest, sincere review.

The location is great for getting outdoors, and the staff were friendly. Our room was decent, and the small casino stayed quiet. The biggest letdown was that the sports bar and restaurant weren't open. The snack food wasn't good, and there weren't many places to eat nearby.

The staff we met were kind and helpful, including Sheena and the manager, Katherine, I think. Their name tags were flipped over, so I'm not completely sure about her name. The casino had about 100 slot machines and was okay overall. But we came for a relaxing weekend with a little gambling, and the hot tub was out of order and half frozen. Part of it is outside and was covered in snow, while the indoor section had leaves in it. The pool was open but cold, and I wouldn't recommend swimming there either. I wish I'd had my phone to take pictures.

We were right by the lake and had a lovely view. Even with the small casino, the place was surprisingly quiet and calm, and the rooms were bigger than I expected. There was a lot of closet space and the bathrooms were very nice. The downside was some damage to the furniture. They advertise a restaurant, but when we visited it wasn't accessible; the only food available was the snack bar, with the same options.
