Hyatt Regency Baytown-Houston

I've had several breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant, and they've all been excellent. The bar looks lively, too. The hotel is a real gem in an area with few nice places to stay, right on the waterfront with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Rooms are clean and modern, with wood and solid colors instead of floral decor, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms are clean and great, and the service has been fantastic. There’s an outdoor pool, hot tub, gym, bar area, large lounge, and restaurant. Just know it’s quite far from major areas, so plan to rent a vehicle if you want to explore around Houston.

The bed was plush but supportive, the linens felt high quality, and the motion-sensor dim lights under the bed and in the bathroom were a thoughtful touch. After a long travel day, the quiet, warm, lively atmosphere was welcome. The lobby was impressive, staff attentive, and cleanliness above average throughout. When my luggage was delayed, they accepted the airport delivery and called promptly as I’d asked. Away from the city's bustle, it was a good place to unwind and rest. I'm already planning another stay.

The night staff member who welcomed me was so sweet and accommodating with my late check-in. She was amazing, and they’re lucky to have someone that friendly, since that isn’t the case at most hotels. The place is brand new, spacious, and super clean.
