Grandview at Las Vegas

We had a two-bedroom suite for our group, which gave our large family lots of room. Each unit had its own kitchen, bathroom, and living space. The furniture and decor felt dated, though, and the bed wasn’t especially comfortable. In one of the rooms, the dryer didn’t work, the sink was clogged, and the bedroom TV didn’t seem to have a proper connection. At check-in on Friday afternoon, the line was long, as expected for a busy day, but plenty of staff were helping and it moved fairly smoothly. I didn’t like being sent to another desk for a “parking pass” that turned out to be an attempt to sign guests up for a timeshare presentation. I declined, and the setup felt misleading. The grounds were nice and well maintained, with three pool areas that close at 10 PM, a good balance for Vegas. Parking can be difficult on busy weekends or when you return late. We later found out housekeeping is only provided for stays of a week or longer. We’d booked just for the weekend, and nobody mentioned the policy at check-in. It would have helped to know ahead of time. I’d stay again. Now that I know what to expect, it could still be a solid choice for a future visit.

The washer and dryer were a lifesaver since we arrived with only the clothes we were wearing and could wash them each night. We booked a one-bedroom suite at the last minute while driving from LA after a spontaneous decision to visit Vegas. Check-in was seamless, and the roomy, clean suite worked well for three adults. The sofa bed was comfortable too. Being right beside South Point made it an ideal place for an unplanned trip.

We were pleasantly surprised by the rate for a family suite. The bed felt just right, the bathtub was great, and having a kitchen was handy. Everything we wanted was about 10-15 minutes away. A good choice if you're visiting Vegas and want some distance from the Strip's chaos.

The room itself was nice, clean, and in a good location, with free parking. I booked through Booking.com and had no issue with that part of the stay. Just know this is a timeshare. The front desk offers gifts if you attend a 90-minute presentation, and says it isn't a timeshare and that most of the 90-120 minutes will be spent at the buffet. That wasn't true: the presentation time starts after the free buffet. After I declined a couple of times, my “VIP” host's attitude changed. I had no problem with the property or room, but skip the tour if you don't want pressure about a timeshare or that host's attitude.
