The shower was decent and the bed was comfortable, but the room was painfully hot. The air conditioner didn't cool it down until the next morning, and the bathroom stayed steamy since the air didn't reach it. When we arrived, we were told there was a $20 deposit. I don't mind a deposit, but the agent who booked the room hadn't mentioned it, and given the location and room, I wondered if it was even necessary.

We went to Vegas on a last-minute Saturday trip and only wanted an inexpensive place to sleep for a few hours. Instead, within minutes of entering the room, I saw ants crawling on the sink and my boyfriend spotted a large dead cockroach less than three feet from the bed. We grabbed our bags and asked for a refund. The woman at the desk asked, “did that scare you?” as if finding a dead roach in a room weren't disgusting. She couldn't issue the refund, and the booking site wouldn't refund us either. Don't spend your time or money here.

I heard from a You tuber called The professional that this hotel may have serious issues. He said the elevator had been out for eight months and corridors were cleaned so infrequently that it took three days to remove cup noodles in one video. He also said the fire alarm was defective, and guests went to the hotel's open area without any staff informing them about what was happening. According to him, the room wasn't up to the golden standard for cleanliness, and the AC was either broken or an old 90s unit that management hadn't modernized. I might avoid this hotel and choose MGM Grand instead.

The area didn't feel safe to me, and the so-called security was just a door lock that could be opened with a strong shove. The rooms were dirty and badly misrepresented on the booking sites. A quick wipe with Fabuloso can't undo 20 years of wear and grime. When I asked for a refund, I got the runaround. I'm going to keep pushing for accurate photos and descriptions because I worry someone will get robbed there. Update after the owner's response: I've had no contact. I sent the requested reservation details through two email chains, but they say they can't find my information, even though I've been in ongoing contact with hotels com and the oyo team, and have called and emailed everyone. It feels like they do the bare minimum and hope customers give up while they keep the money. I plan to dispute the charge with my bank, contact a lawyer, and raise awareness about what I consider fraudulent advertising. I'll complain to booking companies and social media sites, and keep posting reviews. All I wanted was a refund.
