Palace Inn Blue - Garth Rd

I arrived late from a business trip and just needed a room to rest for a few hours. The attendant at Palace Inn Blue in Baytown charged me the full nightly rate for what was about a six-hour stay. I wouldn’t have minded paying extra for a full night if they’d explained it clearly beforehand, but there was no transparency. The room was dirty and smelled strongly of marijuana, which was unacceptable after a long trip. The next morning, the attendant was extremely rude and threatened to call the police if I didn’t check out at exactly 11:00 a.m. After many years of staying at hotels, I’ve never found this kind of treatment acceptable. The lack of clarity, professionalism, and basic courtesy made it feel like the attendant was trying to take advantage of the situation. Save yourself the frustration and choose one of the cleaner, more professional, guest-focused hotels in the area.
