Quality Inn Baytown - Houston East

Roaches all over the place, and the floors smell moldy. The breakfast is awful, the elevator doesn’t work, and they want to charge an extra fee if you’ve been staying for a while. The rooms aren’t worth $10. They even offer a “free” snack if you give them five stars. This place doesn’t deserve one star. I’ll be contacting Channel 2 news because I think it needs to be shut down.

There’s truck parking, and the staff are friendly. It’s pet friendly too, with good restaurants nearby. My room was clean for a 3.7-star hotel, though breakfast was very basic and the hallways could use renovation.

The location is right by the interstate, with lots of restaurants close by. My boyfriend and I stayed a couple of days between work, and Sam at the front desk was welcoming and accommodating from the start. He was always smiling when we came and went. My only issue was that the shoulder was a little hit and hadn’t been cleaned properly, but they took care of it promptly.

The room was cramped, the AC was noisy, and with the hotel beside a highway and intersection, street sounds came straight through the old-style windows. The bathroom door stuck, parts of the sink were peeling, and the hair dryer fan didn’t work. Breakfast called “hot” was just waffle makers and cereal with milk. The elevator was filthy and squeaked as its door opened. As soon as you enter, there’s a horrible urine and mold smell. Pretty much everything that could be bad is bad here. I wouldn’t recommend staying.
