The bathroom was what convinced me to book, and it really delivered. There’s a big tub and a stand-up shower roomy enough for multiple people; the tub could fit a big guy too. The room also had wine and glasses. The king bed is raised up, with plenty of pillows, and it was very comfortable. I was a little unsure from the photos, but it’s cute, and check-in was easy. There’s plenty of parking for the rooms. We came across Beaufort, SC on our second night of travel while looking for somewhere off the beaten path. City Loft Hotel was a good find. The people were friendly, the location worked perfectly, and there are lots of food options nearby, close to the bridge with the pictures. Just a warning, everyone in town dresses way too fancy for dinner, almost creepy. Book the room and enjoy the wine.

The service was great, the rooms were clean and very nice, and the location was wonderful. I never thought I’d love a hotel with exterior entrances; they haven’t felt nice to me since the 1970s. But this place checks every box. We’ll stay here again if we come back.

City Loft Hotel is perfectly placed for exploring downtown Beaufort, and the rooms are incredible and super clean. I loved the huge tub, and having the coffee shop right on the property is such a smart touch. Absolutely amazing!

City Java on the first floor is fabulous, with delicious food and coffee, plus loads of fun local snacks, drinks, and trinkets. Between that, the customer service, and the location, City Loft will always be my first choice in Beaufort, South Carolina. I’ve lived in Beaufort most of my life, so I rarely need a local hotel, but I happened to stay at City Loft once and it was beautiful. For someone who prefers a hotel to a bed-and-breakfast room, it’s my number one choice in town. You get the charm, local details, and lovely style of a B&B, with your own separate room and no shared house space. It’s the perfect combination.

The staff were so helpful, and the cozy room even had a mini bar. They left cool cans of water and brought ice up to my room. I also met the owner, who seemed like a great guy. The attached coffee shop has great drinks and snacks. Great location, and I’ll definitely come back.
