Sleep Inn Terre Haute University Area

The management refused to help when I reported makeup smears, dirt, and blood on the bed. When I asked for the corporate number, the man said he was the owner and cited a no-refund policy. He wouldn't assist me in any way. I checked in for a local event expecting a pleasant stay, but it wasn't. There are several hotels within walking distance or nearby, and I'd strongly suggest choosing one of those instead of the Sleep Inn in Terre Haute, Indiana.

I had a peaceful night in a comfortable, clean room, and everything seemed well maintained. Check-in was quick and easy, thanks to Kishore KD and Abhi from the night shift. Both were helpful and professional. I really enjoyed my stay at Sleep Inn Hotels and would recommend it.

By the time we arrived, the town was fully booked because of several events, so we were lucky to find a room available at the candlewood Inn and suites downtown. The people there were very nice, and the rooms were beautiful and clean. I'd highly recommend it. We'd booked this hotel with our points as Bonvoy members because the listing said it was pet friendly. The woman at the desk was extremely rude and said they don't accept pets, adding that private owners can decide for themselves. I agree they can, but the hotel app should reflect the policy, and staff didn't need to be hateful. My dog is a service animal and travels with me. I always check that she's welcome before booking. My parents stayed here after us and said the rudeness continued throughout their visit. They'll leave their own review.

My job booked me a room for a work trip. It was a nice place, and breakfast was good aside from the biscuits, which weren't fully cooked, so I skipped those.
