Oasis Inn

I stayed in room 112 until around midnight, when bed bugs started biting me. I showed the office photos and the bites I’d just gotten, but they didn’t seem to care. They offered another room. When I asked for a towel so I could shower the bugs off, they told me to use my old one, so I did. Around 1 am, bed bugs attacked me in room 228, too. It was the worst mistake I could’ve made. I stayed on 10/20/2025. Don’t stay here unless you don’t care.

A pleasant surprise and a great value. The room was small but nice, updated, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. It’s a great location, just a three-minute drive to downtown. Coffee in the morning wasn’t bad, but I’d get breakfast elsewhere, like Red Rooster. There’s a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, big TV, and a usable desk.

I was in room 109, where the front door had to be slammed to latch. I slept all night without realizing it was unsecured. The room smelled bad, and breakfast was messy and poorly stocked. I managed to get a banana. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The front desk gentleman was very nice and helpful. The building is clearly old and was probably in poor repair at some point, but it looks like the current owners have put a lot of time and money into freshening it up. The beds were comfortable, the decor was nice, and the walk-in shower seemed to have been improved. We slept comfortably. There were very few small towels, though they looked new and fresh, and there was no breakfast or coffee despite it being advertised. A group of very loud young men hung around the parking lot until about 11 pm. It’s definitely a budget motel, but a comfortable one.
