It’s $60 total, so don’t expect a pool or continental breakfast. You're beside a truck stop, and it is what it is. The security seems good, with cameras around the property watched from the front desk. If all you need is a bed and a Bible before getting back on the road, it'll do.

For the price, it works for a truck driver who wants a night out of the cab. The staff seemed friendly and helpful, and the room was clean enough and didn't smell too bad. It was affordable, too. A few things need attention: the sink leaked onto the counter and floor, one light or outlet had no power, and the sprinkler head had something black around its base. There was no smoke alarm, so I can only assume someone had been smoking in the room.

We came here from Houston after Hurricane Beryl because it was the closest place in our budget that took pets. We’ve been enjoying a cool, comfortable break from the heat. The AC is quiet and cold, and the room is spacious for the price, clean, simple, and quiet, with a coffee maker, microwave, and little fridge. The keyless door also has a bolt lock, which helps us feel safe. At check-in, the staff were kind and helped our little furry man settle in with gentle words and a welcoming manner. There’s plenty of space for a nice walk, including a large field, maybe half an acre, with well-kept St. Augustine grass and no stickers. On a longer walk around the property we found a cute rustic gazebo and a couple of informal garden areas. The shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water, and the towels are bright white, 100% cotton. The downsides: the shampoo packets are tiny if you have long hair, even two aren’t enough, and the TV channel selection is very limited.

This is a decent option if you’re a truck driver who wants a room instead of sleeping in the truck. The beds are decent, the room seemed clean, and the staff were very courteous. Food options nearby are just the close diners and a Domino’s. The room was reasonably priced. I gave it three stars because it’s an old-style room trying to move into the modern age.
