Hampton Inn Beaumont

The people here are what make the difference. For more than 13 years, I’ve come back for several days each month, for work and personal trips. Ms Sam and her staff always treat me and my family like part of theirs. Ms. Chelsea greets me warmly, and Mr. Curtis and Mr. Doyle from the housemen always have a smile and a kind word. Tiffani, the breakfast host, makes sure you’re fed, Galina makes sure my stay is pleasant, and Sheyanne and Bresha make sure my room has what I need. I’ve stayed at four- and five-star hotels around the world and still haven’t been treated better, so consistently over the long term. Recently they did something special for my son’s 18th birthday, after watching him grow up during our stays over the past 13 years or so. The staff are exceptional in every way.

The staff were friendly and the location was convenient, but the room was just okay for a one-night stay. At $170 a night, I expect more from Hilton. There was hair on the bathroom sink and towel, a small stain on the bed, and rust in the shower.

The hot tub wasn't hot, and the bathroom was dirty, with stains in the shower and tub. Housekeeping also didn't replace my towels, toilet paper, or trash bags. My bedding clearly hadn't been changed before check-in, with hairs and stains on the sheets. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and they gave me fresh sheets to put on the bed myself, but housekeeping wasn't great.

The room smelled like sewer water, the toilet was dirty, and there was no shower gel in the pump. The coffee maker had open packets left by previous guests, and the room got hot at night. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable too. We also strongly suspect employees are letting friends and family stay there, perhaps living there. Hilton should inspect this place. We’ve always counted on Hampton hotels for a clean, comfortable night's sleep, but this one was awful. We’ve never stayed in such a disgusting Hilton.
