Red Roof Inn & Suites Beaumont

The third floor walkway reeks of Marijuana. I used to like this hotel for its convenient location and Red Roof Inn rewards, but this is the second time I’ve asked for a room with a bathtub and not gotten one. I like to soak my legs and body when I’m on the road for months at a time. Today the desk clerk said he highly thought room 314 had a tub, but it didn’t. Staff should know which rooms have tubs and which have showers. I used to work in Hilton Hotel chains, and even housekeepers were required to know. Terrible guest service, I won’t choose this place again.

I’m posting for Gary Price, who was the one staying in the room. Roaches were in the shower, microwave, and icebox, and the room smelled of smoke. He paid for a kitchenette, but the stove didn’t work. The front desk staff were horrible, and the General Manager, Echo, wouldn’t reimburse me for the dirty room. This hotel is horrible.

I never stayed here, just brought in a DoorDash order, but I don’t want to deliver there again. The elevator malfunctioned, trapping me while its doors kept opening and closing. Outside, the stairs area was filthy, with tools, cigarette butts, trash like Coke bottles and chip bags, and even a used condom. I’m pregnant and urgently needed a bathroom, but it was disgusting, with what looked like shaving mess, plus pee on the seat and floor. The two employees were leaning on the counter chatting and doing nothing. I can only imagine the rooms. One of the grossest hotel motels I’ve ever stepped into.

My son stayed at the Beaumont Texas location over the weekend and left his wallet in the room. They said they couldn’t find it, then called today to say they’d found it by the dumpster, with all his money gone. All they could say was that their housekeepers don’t steal.
