Courtney coordinated everything we asked for with such care, and the vendors she introduced us to all exceeded our expectations. We had our dream wedding at the Charter in September, and the whole day was more than I could have imagined, from the cocktail-hour welcome party through the ceremony and reception. The venue was perfect, our room was fantastic, and the location worked ideally for friends and family staying there. The weather was perfect too. Our guests still talk about how beautiful the Charter was and how amazing the wedding was. We hope to come back for an anniversary, and maybe for some snowboarding.

The restaurant was good, the pool setup was great, and our room matched what was promised. The problem was how the Epic website sold this as a ski-in/ski-out location. It was at least a half-mile walk to any working chairlift or gondola. If that had been made clear on the website or when I called the front desk, I would have stayed somewhere else. The hotel itself was good, but the misrepresentation through Epic cost it a lot of points.
The spa was a highlight, with remodeled pools and hot tubs, spotless locker rooms, saunas, and spas. Holly and Corrine gave us a deeply relaxing massage. The lodge itself felt warm and welcoming, and every staff member was attentive and helpful. We had a memorable stay at the Charter at Beaver Creek and plan to return. Thank you!
I paid around $1,600 for three nights after booking more than a month ahead. When I arrived today, I was told my room was on the second floor, but it turned out to be two levels below the lobby. There are only two other rooms down there; the rest of that area is storage and parking. The desk said they understood when I raised it, but couldn't do anything. For that price, it was the worst experience I've ever had.
The lodge is nice, but we're disappointed enough that we won't return. The room had only wine glasses, an ice bucket, and a small fridge. No plates, bowls, utensils, or microwave, so it wasn't really equipped for eating anything outside a restaurant. As a parent traveling with children, I expected more from a “kitchenette.” When I called the front desk to ask for plates and utensils for food we'd ordered through the resort delivery promotion emails, they said they couldn't provide them. They also said I couldn't move to another room, if any rooms even had those basics. The marketing gave us the wrong impression, and there weren't good options for families or anyone who doesn't want to eat out every meal.
