We came from the east coast for my nephew's wedding, and the creek behind the hotel and the grounds were lovely. My 3-year-old especially liked the creek, and the recently opened Creekside Park nearby was a hit too, especially the playground. We also spent a couple of relaxing hours at the indoor pool. Our third-floor balcony looked over the Beaver Creek village green space, where there's an ice skating rink in winter, and we could watch live music and say hi to friends we knew. The hotel and rooms were beautiful, with a laid-back feel, and the front desk staff were great. Wendy checked us in and was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was continental, with bagels, pastries, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee, and tea. There wasn't hot food, but it suited us well. The one issue was the June heat. I know this was originally a ski resort, but it got hot while we were there and the rooms don't have air conditioning. The hotel can provide swamp coolers on request, big fans that use water and evaporation to cool the air. They worked pretty well, though they're not a mistake fan. Beaver Creek Village restaurants, shops, and activities were expensive, but we knew that and had planned for it months ahead. We had a great stay and would come back if the chance came up.

We always ask the front desk for local restaurant and activity tips, and the staff have been friendly and accommodating every time we've stayed at Park Plaza over the years. The condo rooms are spacious, cozy, and comfortable, with a kitchen stocked with the tools you might need to cook. Breakfast downstairs is fresh and tasty. This visit felt especially relaxing after the shared spaces were updated. We liked the new modern lobby, table games, and fitness center, but kept coming back to the pool area. Between the indoor and outdoor hot tubs, waterfalls, stone slide, and sauna, it was the highlight for us.

We had a fantastic family ski trip over Easter. The spacious, lovely condo at Park Plaza, its convenient location, ski locker, and parking made the vacation easy and relaxing. Breakfast each morning was a nice way to start our ski day. The new pool and hot tub renovations look fabulous. We'll be back next year!

The heated garage, elevators to your floor, ski locker room, complimentary breakfast, pool, hot tub, and sauna make Park Plaza a great ski-in/ski-out condo. Lifts are a quick walk away, and so are the plaza's pubs and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the two-bedroom unit was roomy and updated. This was our second ski trip here in three years, and two of the best we've had in dozens of trips over 35 years. I first skied BC in 1988, and it's still my favorite mountain in the area. There's just something about it that suits me, and I've been back many times.

We've now enjoyed both the spring-summer and fall-winter seasons at Park Plaza, and plan to return many more times. In warmer months there's hiking, golfing, mountain biking, and horseback riding, along with outdoor concerts, festivals, performing arts, and plenty of sunshine. Fall and winter bring lots of activities in this winter wonderland. The condos were recently updated, including bathrooms, showers, high-speed internet, smart TVs, and kitchens. The property sits among restaurants and shops, and it's just steps from a short escalator to the Beaver Creek Mountain slopes. Park Plaza was ranked # 1 of 40 by Trip Advisor in Specialty Lodging in Beaver Creek when we researched our trip. It turned out to be the most amazing ski vacation of our lives.
