Best Budget Inn Anaheim

I checked in around 3:30 a.m. and found a bed bug on the pillow as soon as we entered the room. I told the staff member, who upgraded us, but when we checked both beds in the second room, they had bed bugs too. The rooms smelled bad and the carpets were filthy. While I waited in my car with my six-month-old, my husband went back to cancel the booking. We were parked by the staff window when a man came over, leaned on my car, and tried to open the passenger door. I got out to ask what he was doing, and he ran off. The staff were kind about the situation and canceled our booking, but it was a bad experience all around. I’ll never recommend this place.

I was staying nearby because of a hospital emergency, but the room was old, dirty, and smelled awful. A rat ran past the chair, and there were roaches on the wall. I didn’t even go inside after seeing that. A man parked in the next room asked me for sex, and I felt very unsafe and scared. Within eight minutes, I went to the office to cancel and ask for a refund. The man there was rude and refused to refund me. I left and found another room that was clean and professional. I tried speaking with the person in the office about the unsafe, unsanitary room, with rats and roaches, and people asking for sex at his hotel. He refused to talk to me or show any concern for customer safety. Disabled people and military families, be careful there.

The room smelled bad and was dirty. Water leaked from the fridge across the floor and ruined our clothes, the toilet got stuck, and the light wouldn’t turn off. There was a random bar of soap under the blankets, along with hair. I don’t think the sheets get washed here. They called in the middle of the night saying they’d “booked the wrong name” and needed to see my ID again, which made no sense. They were rude too. I’m never coming back, and I think the place should be shut down.

I stayed here in early October. When I went to check out, the doors were locked and nobody answered the bell or the door. I called at 10:00 a.m., and they refused to return my deposit. They were rude and scammers. I’d tell anyone to stay away.
