The room was dirty and hadn't been cleaned, with hair on the toilet and dirt on the sheets. I asked for a discount, but was told the manager wouldn't offer one because my rate was already discounted to 208.00 for a night. I emailed Choice Hotels and GM. Fl936 and heard back from neither. That says a lot about their level of care.

Joel runs the whole place and, with very little help, I think he did a great job. I went down for breakfast twice a day before 7:00 a.m. and it was already waiting, with enough to fill me up nicely. It's free, and you can go back as many times as you like from 7:00 to 10:00. People shouldn't show up five minutes before 10:00 and complain that there's nothing left, though apparently that happened a lot. This is a good hotel for the location and the budget, as long as you understand it's a budget place and don't expect luxury service at that price. If the shower seems scalding hot, turn the dial, that's how the temperature is adjusted. And if it doesn't have the amenity you're after, stay somewhere else.

Mrs.Handan and Mrs.Monique were great, and the breakfast was amazing. The person serving breakfast was great too. There was so much variety, including biscuits, sausage, Belgian waffles, and tater tots. The rooms are really spacious, and they're renovating right now. This is a magnificent hotel with great staff. I recommend the property, please visit.

I liked the marina and nature views, and check-in went smoothly. They accommodated my double booking to make the stay more comfortable. It was affordable and convenient for me, a quick getaway, and I had the pool to myself one day. The pool is shared with the apartments next door, and you need a keycard to get in, which is good security. Service was okay, though the staff seemed very low-energy. I didn't have breakfast. I stayed in rm 129, and the broken latch on the door made me uncomfortable, so I pushed the wardrobe in front of it. The floors had lots of dirt and debris, the refrigerator didn't work, and there were gnats inside the ice machine. The place needs some TLC inside and out. You get what you pay for, but I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone.

The staff are friendly and willing to work with contractors. It's a good place to stay when you're out of town, whether you're traveling for work or vacation. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, and I'd highly recommend it.
