Sanger Inn

The room felt uncomfortable to stay in because it was so dirty. The towels were stained and dirty, and clearly hadn’t been replaced after the previous guests. I took photos because the neglect was shocking. Housekeeping seemed nonexistent, and management didn’t seem to take pride in the property. For what they charge, guests should get a safe, sanitary place, and this hotel falls far short. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and peace of mind, there are better options nearby that care about cleanliness and guests.

We’d been driving for days and were desperate, so we took the long way around to reach the northbound frontage road. The construction was really bad, especially coming from the north. The price was fair, $79 and under $100 with tax, and the guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. There was no continental breakfast.

I stay there when I’m in town visiting family. It’s a bit aged, but quiet, easy to check in and out of, and gives you the privacy you want.

The room was surprisingly spacious, and the rate was low. The living area and bathroom were clean, so this was a great budget find. I’d use them again if I’m in the area. Traveling with family, though, I wouldn’t book it because my kids really want a pool, and this wouldn’t be a good fit.
