Motel 6 Beaver, UT

The floors were so clean that my white socks stayed white after I walked around the room all evening. I can’t say that for most of the Motel 6s I’ve stayed in while traveling between Florida and Oregon. Credit to management for hiring a pleasant woman at the front desk and a hardworking housecleaner. Those two ladies earned a five-star review from me, which I don’t give easily.

A good-value Motel 6 in Beaver, Utah, especially if you’re traveling with a pet for the night. The room was roomy and clean, with a refrigerator and microwave. They don’t charge extra for bringing a dog, which makes it an especially good deal.

The check-in clerk was polite and professional, and getting checked in was easy. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was good. The location is right off the freeway. The only issue was other guests slamming their doors and walking loudly. It’s too bad some people are inconsiderate when coming and going.

For under $70 a night, I thought getting a jacuzzi tub was a jackpot. I stayed here last year while passing through on my way to Arizona, and the room was clean and fine for the price. It’s safe, in a small town just off the interstate with a few restaurants and stores. Beaver isn’t exactly a city, and most people are probably just stopping for the night, so the limited food options didn’t surprise me. The parking lot was the main downside, with potholes like craters. I don’t really care about free coffee or breakfast, so I can’t say whether they had it, and at this price I wouldn’t be upset if they didn’t. It’s nothing amazing or like the Hilton, but it’s good value and I’d stay again.
