Fairfield Inn & Suites Dayton Beavercreek

Breakfast was free and had everything I could ask for, and the attentive staff kept it stocked. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable, though the pillows were the one letdown. It's a newer hotel, and check-in was quick and easy. They offer a Cybertruck to drive and have a beer bar, plus a nice pool and a large fitness center with more than enough equipment. A very pleasant stay.

The only real snag was at the desk. Check-in took about 10 minutes while the agent sorted out someone else's booking at the wrong hotel. At checkout, there was no one there and no “stepped away” sign. Another man and I waited more than five minutes, he wanted to buy things from the market, and after walking around the desk and looking into the empty back employee area, I left. Otherwise, the hotel was impressively clean, with laminate wood floors, comfortable beds, white linens, and spacious rooms. The kitchenettes were fully equipped with what we needed. There's ample parking and charging stations, and breakfast is included, though we didn't eat it. The market has wine, snacks, and toiletries, and there are a pool, golf simulator, gym, water bottle filling station, and a fantastic safe location.

The ladies who make and hand out breakfast in the mornings deserve a huge shoutout. The menu changes every day, and breakfast here is nothing like a standard continental spread. One of the ladies, the beautiful Asian lady, was so sweet and even brought me soup from the back. Everything was very clean and the hospitality was wonderful. I'm here for four days and already looking forward to breakfast. Honestly, I'd come back to this particular hotel just for that.

We came for a cheer competition at the convention center and were welcomed as soon as we walked in. The front desk was friendly throughout. We only planned to stay one night, but when the snowstorm came, we returned for a second rather than get snowed in at another hotel. They gave us the same room, and everything was clean enough to meet my extremely picky expectations.
