SpringHill Suites by Marriott Oakland Airport

Maura is a big part of why this place feels like a second home. She remembers guests and is always warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Her service really stands out. I’m here for work almost every week, and the breakfast keeps me coming back. It’s fresh, clean, and well organized, with plenty of choice and a calm, welcoming feel before a busy day of meetings.

The rooms were spacious and really clean, and the free breakfast was worth having. It’s close to the airport, and service was good. My husband handled check-in and said the staff were great. The setting is the drawback. It’s behind the Harvey Davidson Store in a pretty industrial area, so don’t expect a scenic view. There isn’t proper private parking, though a night security guard sits in the lot, which helps. I’d definitely recommend it for a stay of a few days.

Friendly service and a great bar and grill atmosphere. The place feels clean and safe, and I’ve never had a problem here. The beds are comfy and clean, and even the fluffy pillows smell good. Wonderful Marriott property!

The soundproofing could be a lot better. When somebody knocked on the next door, it sounded like they were trying to get into my room 😅. Aside from that, the staff were friendly, the service was great, and I’d gladly come back. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the cozy bed had me sleeping like a baby. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, better than I usually get at Holiday Inn or Best Western. It doesn’t match a European breakfast, of course, but it stands out for a U.S. hotel.
