The room was pristine when I arrived, and it's up to Hilton standards. I used to work at one up the street for several years, so I know. The soundproofing is surprisingly good, and I've been sleeping well. Since my floors are being redone at home, I picked an extended stay instead of Airbnb after a lot of thought. For 11 nights, either would have cost around $1,500, but this place includes breakfast and doesn't charge cleaning fees. I also appreciated being moved to a king room since I was staying so long and didn't need two beds. I've had a blast walking to a few movies and to the mall while my house is a mess. The location is great, and breakfast has been good too. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'd die for the biscuits and hash browns. My only gripe is that when housekeeping came one day, the gentleman asked what specific things I wanted done. I was about two minutes from heading out and hoped they'd clean the room fully while I was gone, haha. I said just the sheets because I felt bad, then left. Also, the keys don't seem to work for very long, and my digital key is down for the second time, so I've stopped trying to use it. I'm grateful I chose this place and expect the rest of my stay to be really great.

The weight room was nice, and the rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Water pressure was good too. Breakfast was just okay, and they skimp on towels. The back entrance and the side door by the pool won't open, so you have to come in through the front. Also, doing laundry turns the place into a sauna.

I stayed several weeks. It was okay, but there are better options nearby, and I'd look elsewhere. The main problems were maintenance and a persistent chemical smell. In my first room, the smell was strong in the kitchen area, so I asked to move. Management first tried spraying more chemicals, which made it worse. The second room was tolerable, though I could still notice the odor. Things around the property stayed broken or damaged throughout my stay. One mattress was so worn I could feel the springs. The front entrance door remained broken, ice machines on every floor were out of order, and one leaked water for weeks. A hallway wall sconce was hanging off the wall, and countertops, baseboards, and wallpaper had chips or other damage. None of these issues alone made me leave, but I expect much better from Hilton. The suite kitchen had a microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. It worked, but wasn't enough of a plus to make up for the smell and upkeep. The staff were around and doing their jobs, though they seemed somewhat indifferent about the property to me.

Terrance at the front desk and Wes from maintenance made this stay stand out. Both were friendly, professional, and caring, and went far beyond what I expected. They clearly take pride in their work, and made me feel valued as a guest. Because of them, the hotel exceeded my expectations. I'll gladly come back and recommend it to everyone I know.
