Beaverton Budget Inn

I felt safe and warm in the room, and it gave me somewhere to stay without having to wake up friends for help. I’m grateful for that. If home ever feels unsafe again and none of my friends can put me up, I’d come back. I’d been kicked out of my home because of a dysfunctional household and walked about an hour to get here. It was late, but that didn’t cause any trouble. The woman at the front desk was kind and understanding, made check-in easy, and even gave me a piece of candy. The room was standard, with cups, soap bars, towels, a freezer, and a microwave. There were plenty of lights and outlets, and they all seemed to work. It was clean, though there was a bit of smoke smell, probably from the previous guest smoking when they weren’t supposed to. I don’t smoke, and I told staff as soon as I got in, but it wasn’t a big problem for me. I’m used to that sort of thing at lower-priced hotels. The bathroom was very clean, the plumbing worked without issues, and the AC was great.
