My first stay at an Element hotel surprised me in a good way, especially with all the lobby amenities. The rooms are updated and the beds comfortable. I liked the snack gift bag, though a full-size water bottle would’ve been better. Spinning the wheel when I arrived got me extra Bonvoy points, too. I also appreciate the personal email asking for honest feedback.

We spent a couple of days here while visiting Portland. The location made it easy to get to local restaurants and attractions. I’d rather see hot breakfast items served buffet-style than have to wait at an omelette station to order eggs. It works well if you go early, before it gets busy.

It’s an earthy-feeling hotel and always clean. They set out tea blends for guests, and everyone working there is kind and friendly. I always recommend this Marriott brand.

Lots of parking, helpful staff, and I liked that pets are welcome. Our room had a kitchen sink and dishware, too. It was a really nice hotel and not too far from the city. The pet fee was an extra $50 per night, which felt kind of high.

Our place had flooded, so we were already having a crummy night. Sharem at the front desk welcomed us so kindly and made a stressful situation feel easy. Thanks for the wonderful room!
