PepperTree Inn

My kids loved the pond with the ducks, and the bed was amazing. The room was really nice too, with clean sheets, a huge mirror, a fridge big enough for us, drawers for our clothes, and a safe for our things. The bathroom was great, and they even put a bow on the toilet paper. We needed a room for a couple of days, and check-in was quick and easy. The service was so good.

The location is phenomenal. The front desk clerks are hard to talk with, whatever the circumstances, and there’s no room service. The parking lot is full of potholes, so it’s hard to get around at night.

I couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep, and I didn't shower because the place felt too dirty. The rug felt crunchy, the chair looked like it had come from a dumpster, and my room smelled strongly of a brewery. The refrigerator didn't work. There was a coffee maker, but only decaf pods; the lobby coffee tasted burnt and old. I told the manager, who asked the staff to throw out the chair. She said I'd get my deposit back, but not the room charge.

Those photos send the wrong message. There isn't a breakfast bar, so bring your own juice, coffee, waffles, or fruit. Someone needs to take the pictures down. False advertising.
