The only drawback for us was the thin walls. We could hear a man next door who might need a checkup for some kind of respiratory illness, and that could be a problem if you need complete quiet to sleep. Everything else was great. The room was spotless, the mattresses comfortable, and the water pressure strong. And, TMI, the toilet paper was the real kind! Staff were friendly from the moment we came in, and they replied promptly to messages on the app. I like the Marriott chain, though smaller town locations can vary on rooms, employees, and location (yes, I’m side-eyeing you, Lewisburg W.V. Fairfield Inn). This Marriott is a shining example of the brand. We’ve pinned it for future business trips in the area and will be happy to see the employees again.

It was a very emotional Christmas trip for my father and me, and the staff made all the difference. Angela at the front desk, Buzz the night auditor, Heather the amazing chef, and Bill the general manager were all so helpful and accommodating. We did have quite a few problems with hotel maintenance, but the people working here made our stay feel wonderful. Thanks for such a pleasant experience.

The room was pretty nice, especially the curved couch, and the shower was good. The TV was a decent size, unlike some Marriott rooms with tiny ones. There’s no microwave in the room, though one is available in the market area. I miss the little amenities like shower caps and personal kits. It’s a small thing, but I use them, so it’d be nice if they could be included.

It’s a nice hotel, but they removed the pool to make the gym bigger. If we’d known, we wouldn’t have paid extra to stay here on our road trip.
