Four Points by Sheraton Bedford Manchester Airport

Only stayed one night, but I’ll be back. The place was super clean and smelled awesome, the room and bed were nice, and the staff were friendly. My only two gripes were that breakfast isn’t free, it costs $15.95 per person, and Lyft was really slow. Not a huge deal. Hope you like the Appelsín, dude from Iceland.

We spent three weeks at the Four Points in Bedford, NH while moving out of NH, and it felt like home for me and my daughter, Amelia. Extended stays can be hit or miss, but this one went beyond what we expected and made the whole time comfortable and pleasant. Ashley at morning breakfast was AMAZING, always welcoming, kind, and helpful. She made us feel known and cared for from day one, which meant a lot while I was away from home with a small child who still had school each day. Melissa in housekeeping was top-notch too. The room was always impeccably clean, and her attention to detail and friendliness stood out. She also helped work around my work schedule while I was working from the hotel room. We’re grateful to the whole staff for making the stay so easy. I’d absolutely recommend the hotel for a short or long stay in the Bedford area.

The staff were very, very friendly, and the bar and cafe were lovely, with good food. Prices on the hotel website were quite decent. The recent renovation has nice touches: muted colors, a platform bed, a backlit bathroom mirror, and Guild Pepper toiletries. One concern: the elevators have no card readers, so people can access the guest room floors without authorization.

The hotel itself was comfortable, quiet, and nice, and it was nearly empty when I stayed on Sunday, January 4. But the way our arrival was handled was ridiculous. Another driver and I arrived at 4:58am after transporting Disney on Ice from Rochester, NY to Manchester for performances. We had prepaid for our Sheraton rooms by credit card, but the desk said the system had automatically canceled them because we hadn’t checked in by midnight. The desk clerk called two managers at home and tried to put the rooms back manually. It took half an hour before we finally got keys. I could maybe understand canceling a late arrival if the hotel were busy and the room unpaid, but canceling a prepaid room seems crazy. This was an airport hotel, where flights arrive at all hours. If people book and pay, they should expect the room to be ready. Tru by Hilton downtown checked another driver in at 4:28am with no problem and had rooms ready.
