Our family of three had a great stay. We had a spacious, comfortable room on the 17th floor with a fantastic view, and our child loved the heated pool. Breakfast was very good, too. We could also rent a car easily downstairs, right beside the hotel. The location made arriving for our cruise simple, since the hotel is about five minutes from the cruise ship terminal. We disembarked early in the morning and really appreciated being allowed to check in early.

A pretty decent hotel in a great location, with very friendly staff and a reasonable price. The free breakfast is a nice way to start the day. Harbor-facing rooms have lovely views, though the afternoon sun can get a bit intense.

Jasiah made a real difference to our stay at SpringHill Suites. He offered us a better room than the one we booked, suggested restaurants and activities around the city, and answered all our questions professionally. He even gave my kid a few small freebies, which made the trip better for him. Everything else about the stay worked smoothly, and I’d absolutely choose this hotel again in San Diego. SpringHill Suites is a stronger option than its Marriot counterpart. The rooms were comfortable and well kept, and the beds felt just right, not too hard or soft. The location was handy, directly in front of key tourist spots, with easy parking access. Breakfast staff weren’t as friendly. I politely asked one woman to refill the cream cheese for my kid because it had run out. I knew they still had some in the back, but she didn’t want to replenish it. I’d understand if they weren’t making more food, but supplies should be there.

We had a lovely staycation, with a great room view and a great location. The outdoor bar and deck on the 5th floor is a nice spot to grab a drink and watch the sunset. Hussein at the front desk was polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional.

The hotel is right on the bay, with restaurants, maritime museums, and parks all within a short walk. Our double queen room had generous space, a separate living area, and killer views of the USS Midway. It was modern, sleek, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is included, with plenty of hot protein choices, and it was well stocked. The gym was surprisingly good for a city hotel, with free weights, a cable machine, and cardio equipment. Even the reception shop was thoughtfully stocked with local products like protein bars, plus medicine and batteries. Great value for money, which is rare these days. Highly recommend!
