Comfort Inn San Diego Miramar

I picked Comfort Inn Miramar because it was near my business appointments, reasonably priced, and I’d had consistently good experiences at Comfort Inn properties around the U.S. I was also visiting friends and family in San Diego, and didn’t want to impose on anyone. The room was clean and a decent size, but I could barely sleep with the constant racket from both the air conditioner and the refrigerator. It was so bad I recorded it to show my friends. The Wi-Fi was another problem, which I hadn’t run into at other Comfort Inns. On the first night, the front desk told me to skip down to a password link below the name and room number fields, and that got me connected. The next evening, none of my three devices would connect, so I gave up and used my phone data. I restarted my laptop and tried troubleshooting again the following morning, still with no luck. I called the 866 support number from the room several times, but the calls kept dropping. When I went to the desk, the employee was dismissive and unhelpful. He blamed my devices and said the help desk might be busy. Eventually I got through to support and heard an automated message saying multiple hotels had Wi-Fi trouble after a recent software update. The front desk should have known that. The representative took my network address and fixed it within minutes. The employee had tried to make it sound like I was the only guest with an issue. But at 8:30 a.m. the lot was fairly empty and most guests were probably out for the day; plenty of people also rely only on their phones and might not report Wi-Fi trouble. Staff should know about company-wide problems and make an effort to look into them. Customer service matters, and I felt my concern was brushed aside. I chose this hotel because of my good experiences with the Comfort Inn brand elsewhere, but I won’t return to this particular location. I’ll remember the front desk employee’s rude, dismissive attitude. When a service is advertised, the staff should be aware of known problems or at least investigate them. The indifference to guest feedback reflects badly on how this franchise treats paying customers.

Everything felt well kept, and the room, bathroom, and even the hallways were spotless and organized. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast was included, there’s a small pool off to the side, and the location was convenient. Had a great stay.

Raj at the front desk made arrival easy. He was welcoming and professional, patiently answered my questions, and kept a positive attitude. Kenya Suthar also did a great job as housekeeper, keeping my room fresh, clean, and organized every day. Their care and hospitality made my stay at Comfort Inn Miramar, San Diego, much more enjoyable. I really appreciate them both. Highly recommended.

Raj at the front desk really made my visit feel personal. He was friendly, professional, and helpful the whole time, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and everything went smoothly. The rooms at Comfort Inn Mira Mesa were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the hotel had a welcoming, relaxing feel. I had a great stay and highly recommend it. Thanks, Raj!
