They don’t put up with fighting or other drama here. My cousin got banned after they called the police, and they’ll do the same if guests are causing trouble, so keep that in mind. The owners keep the place clean, quiet, and safe. There’s no breakfast, which is a shame, but you can get food nearby: Waffle House and Burger King are across the street, and McDonald’s is next door. Rooms have a mini fridge for snacks and cold drinks, along with Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a landline for local calls. Kids might get a kick out of seeing a landline, since they hardly see those outside their grandparents’ homes.

The room is infested, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We were worn out after working all day and just needed somewhere to sleep, but the key wouldn’t open the door. We went between the office and the room four times, and each time the night-shift man gave us a different room number and acted like it was our fault. When we asked for our money back, he refused. He only tried the key himself after we started calling the police, then left before we could get back upstairs. The room door was standing open, and it had a recently rigged lock that needed an old-fashioned key because the card lock was apparently broken. The key still never worked, and we had no key for the room we’d paid for. He was rude and disrespectful for no reason. I’d give this place negative stars if I could. Go somewhere else.

I’m staying here now after my therapist placed me here, and to me it’s a whole lot better than where I live. The room is cozy, clean, and nice, and I appreciate the hospitality. I’d stay again, and if I could afford it, I’d book another week. Please respect the property, though. I’ve found broken glass and cigarette butts scattered on the ground. It wouldn’t be nice if someone came onto your property and treated it that way.

I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel. The bed was torn down on both sides, there was no service, and I heard people in the ceiling all night, every night during the week I was there.
