Comfort Inn & Suites Beeville

The first room had a cockroach, so we tried another. Under the sheets in that room were pubic hairs and a huge stain. Absolutely disgusting, don’t come here.

My coworker and I were in town for work and staying here for the week. I told the front desk ahead of time that if our work meant we needed to stay longer, I’d ask to extend in the same room so they wouldn’t move our belongings. We worked from morning into the afternoon and came back hours after check-in, which is why I made sure to speak to them in advance. Instead, our things had been taken out and put in the storage room downstairs. Our food had been thrown away, all our toiletries were gone, and the maid had gone through our bags and stolen more of our belongings, including a jacket, a watch, and cologne. This was unacceptable, especially because we were leaving that day, and no refund was given. I won’t stay here again anytime soon. I’d give the hotel a zero.

I came back to the same hotel to check in, and the front desk guy charged the online room price plus $162 without telling me. He said I’d smoked in the room, which was nonsense. They eventually refunded me, but the charge disrupted my bank account, left me facing overdraft fees, and meant I had to wait for my money. On my earlier stay, I’d left the next morning and wasn’t charged an incidental deposit because of my platinum level. Horrible service. I won’t stay here again.

This is basically a bar with musty rooms to rent, not a hotel for anyone hoping to sleep. The music is so loud it makes things in the room rattle, and earplugs don’t help because the bass comes right through. My son gave up and slept in his truck. I thought the bar closed at 11 p.m., but the guy at the front desk said it stays open until midnight. At 12:40 a.m. there was still no sign of the noise slowing down or stopping. Easily one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. Go somewhere else if you want a good night’s rest.
