Wimberley Inn

The town is lovely, quaint, and has lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is charming, with a great pool and bar service. We tried the mocktails at the hotel bar, and they were superb. I could have used more lights in the room and a real coffee maker, but I would definitely stay again!

Sam’s white bean chicken chili is still the best I’ve ever had, and the pear spice cake was a favorite too. We started dinner out on the deck, then went inside for the nice live background music. Renea, our hostess and server, was terrific and really paid attention to what everyone wanted. The whole evening felt so thoughtfully done, which I think comes from the owners, managers, and team all caring about the guest experience. Thanks!

The brunch was a real highlight. We loved the stuffed French toast, plus the tostadas, biscuits and gravy, and avocado toast. I tried a guava mimosa for the first time and really liked it. The bar and brunch are worth checking out, and they sometimes have live music. Out back, the fire was a nice place to relax. Our room had a little fridge for leftovers, coffee and tea, and a very comfortable, cozy bed. It was a beautiful, restful stay with everything we needed. Wimberley seems like a great spot to come with friends or family, they’d be impressed.

A laid-back place to have a cocktail and something to eat. The prices for both were pleasantly reasonable, and I especially liked the roasted beet humus and the spiced pear cocktail.
