By the time we finally got a room with a clean trundle bed, we’d already moved three times. That room still had a dirty bathroom, a soap dispenser torn off the shower wall, no washcloths, and just two bath towels for four people. There were no pool towels either, so we used those same two towels after swimming. When all of us needed showers, staff said they had no clean towels to exchange them for. We also had no hot water. It started after a three-hour drive with our two kids and sports gear. The first trundle mattress had several obvious blood stains. We asked the front desk if they could replace just the mattress, but the man there said we’d have to change rooms. He didn’t apologize and seemed bothered by the request. In the first-floor room we were sent to, the trundle had a huge urine stain and food crumbs, and the room was stifling with no air running. When we showed him photos, he told us he didn’t think any room would make us happy and suggested canceling the reservation so we could go elsewhere. We were already unpacked once and had to haul everything downstairs with the kids and bags. We had to move a third time because nearby hotels were full for sporting events. I’ve worked as a Director of Sales and Marketing for two major brand hotels, so I know housekeeping can be challenging. I still can’t understand the lack of cleanliness or professionalism here. I’ve stayed in roadside motels that were cleaner. This was a hassle from beginning to end, and I’d rather sleep in my car next time. Marriott should be embarrassed by this location. Stay far away.

The people here made a painful two weeks in June 2025 feel a little easier. After my father died unexpectedly, the staff were flexible about my extended stay and treated me with real kindness. They even put together snacks and gave me a sympathy card signed by the team. Those gestures meant a lot at such a heavy time. The hotel was quiet, clean, and well cared for, but it was the staff’s empathy that made my stay. I’m so grateful. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The power went out, and the elevator was down too, so I had to walk downstairs to ask about it. The front desk clerk seemed annoyed that I’d even asked. Once the electricity came back, the elevator still wasn’t working. I went down for coffee and breakfast and was told I had to wait until 7, about 15 minutes. So I walked back up and waited. Both the breakfast woman and the clerk were rude, and there was no empathy for the inconvenience. I asked for muffins to be replenished so I could take one up to my granddaughter. She got one muffin and handed it to me, but didn’t refill them until I was leaving to walk up three flights again. Not nice people. I hope their vacation doesn’t get ruined like mine.

We got an Executive Suite for the price of a standard room, so there was plenty of space. It was very clean, the temperature was comfortable, and the bed came close to being as comfortable as our own at home. There was a nice breakfast surprise too: freshly made croissant sandwiches, available just by asking. We were happy with the stay from check-in to departure and would choose this place again when we’re in the area.

The friendly staff are a real plus, and the rooms are reasonably clean. Breakfast is pretty good too. But as a frequent business traveler, I find this place irritating. Some rooms have hardly any storage, and the mini fridges are either freezing everything or so warm they’re almost useless. Weekends are the bigger problem. The hotel fills up and there’s never enough parking. In summer, sports events seem to bring groups of screaming kids running through the halls until 1 a.m., while their parents make no effort to respect the people trying to sleep. A very average stay.
