La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Belgrade - Bozeman Airport

It's a smaller place with older appliances, but it felt cozy, and everything I needed was easy to access. The staff were great. Breakfast was 10/10, the team who put it together did a wonderful job. Looking forward to seeing the renovations when we come again 💓

We didn't arrive until 3 a.m. because of major flight delays, which were completely out of our control. Tired as we were, we politely asked the desk for a late checkout so we could get a few hours of sleep. They offered just 30 extra minutes and warned that being even one minute late would mean a charge for a full additional night. Mia at the front desk delivered that warning with no compassion or flexibility. There was no attempt at basic customer service, just a cold, transactional response that added stress to an already exhausting travel day. Hotels near airports should expect delayed flights and tired guests. Instead of a small courtesy, this place made a bad travel day worse. I won't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it. If you value empathy or basic hospitality, stay elsewhere. My experience at La Quinta Inn & Suites Belgrade near the Bozeman airport was exceptionally poor.

The hot breakfast was ready on time at 6 a.m. and nicely prepared and presented. It included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, a waffle maker, and cold items. Check-in was welcoming, the lobby was charming and well kept, and my room was clean.

At arrival, a young woman greeted me and was professional and personable. There was a mix-up with the room, which wasn't a big deal, but the manager, Juanita, treated her as if she couldn't handle anything and was very bossy. I asked for a 3:30 wake-up call because I had an early flight. The phone rang at 2:30 a.m., waking me after only two and a half hours of sleep, then kept ringing several times even after I answered. The woman at the front desk said she was sorry and would leave a note for the manager. When I spoke with the manager, she offered $20 off. I said that wasn't acceptable. She said it wasn't their fault, but the system's, because it hadn't remembered the time change. Seriously? I asked for the owner's name, but she refused and said she'd get fired. There were several other hotels in the area I could have chosen. I made a mistake picking this one.
